The follow-ups tab of the case details shows the list of all follow-ups for that case. The list includes the follow-up date, length, user (advisor), type of activity and a short preview of the follow-up description.

By default, this preview is limited to 256 characters. The full contents of the description can be showned by clicking on the "+" sign, but if the user systematically has to click on this to get any relevant information, it is possible to increase (or reduce) the size of the preview.

Note that to change this setting, you must have access to the files where LCM is installed, on the web server.

Here is how:

 On the web server where LCM is installed, edit (or create) the file "inc/config/my_options.php" (it is not part of the LCM installation, so that it is not erased while software upgrades).

 Add the following text, where "500" in the example below is the new length of the preview description:

 Save the file.

Make sure that there is no blank line at the end of the file, or you may have PHP errors, such as "headers already sent".

This value is also used for the preview description for the "internal requests" (since LCM 0.7.0).
